The SLA1.5M and SLA3.0M are automatic managed chargers which may be left connected to a battery pack indefinitely without risk of damage.
Models SLA1.5M and SLA3.0M are short circuit and reverse polarity protected.
Managed Chargers
SLA1.5M 6/12/24V
SLA3.0M 6/12/24V
The SLA1.5M and SLA3.0M managed units are preset for use with 6, 12, 18 or 24V
batteries to a maximum of 3.0 amps. (See current rating curves.)
The current limited/constant voltage technique initially reforms the cells at a
nominal low current if the charger detects a deep discharged battery. The
bulk charge is enabled when the battery condition has recovered at a constant
rate until final target voltage of 2.35V/cell is reached when approximately 90%
of charge is restored. The final trickle current restores the remaining
capacity and may be left connected indefinitely without incurring overcharge.
Front panel indicators display the state of charge modes.
